PROGRAM

9th -12rd Sept. Lectures at VNU-HUS: chemistry campus

13 th Sept. Lectures at PVI (in combination with the 10th National conference of catalysis and adsorption

14th– 17th Sept. Field trip (Ho-Chi-Minh City, Vung Tau)

          14th  Sept. Visit Vietnam Petroleum Institute, HCMc

           16th Sept. Visit Phu my Fertilizer and chemicals Co.Ltd

18th– 19th Sept. Meeting of the SDG Graduate Schools

20th– 21st Sept. Social program (excursion to Sapa)

 

Fields trip and Social Programs (optional)

  1. Hochiminh city (14th – 15th)

Vung Tau (16th – 17th Sept.)

            Cost: 80 €/person (hotel and flight not included)

  1. Sapa (20th – 21th) Cost: 70€/person (hotel included)

 

REGISTRATION

Registration is open to all scientists interested in catalysis and chemistry and companies related to chemistry and chemical analysis. All persons intending to attend the Conference must complete a Registration Form at www.rohan-sdg.com.

REGISTRATION FEES are not required!

For field trips: Participants shall pay their own flight tickets and hotels to reach and to stay at the field trip’s location.

Notification of acceptance for oral/poster presentations will be announced before 30.06.2018.

 

PUBLICATION

All oral and poster presentations may be published as proceedings, in a special volume of the Vietnam Journal of Catalysis and Adsorption. The participants, who like to publish their work in this journal, may submit full-text manuscript of their work according to the journal’s guidelines which will be launched after the notification of acceptance for oral/poster presentations.

SCHOLARSHIP TO ATTEND

Who can apply for a scholarship to attend?

All Master and PhD students, postdocs and scientists from the School of Chemical Engineering of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), the Faculty of Chemistry and the Faculty of Environmental Sciences of the VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS), University of Rostock and LIKAT, can apply for scholarships to attend the workshop. A selected number of participants will be supported and informed before the 30th of June.

 

What does the scholarship cover?

For participants from the University of Rostock and LIKAT, the scholarship covers the travel expenses, accommodation (from the 9th to the 21th of September 2019) and meals during the workshop and the field trips. Further expenses are expected to be cover by the scholarship holder.

For participants from the School of Chemical Engineering of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), the Faculty of Chemistry and the Faculty of Environmental Sciences of the VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS), the scholarship covers lunches during the workshop.  The field trips on 14th -17th September and on 20th - 21th September (if one like to attend) are not included. Further expenses are expected to be cover by the scholarship holder.

 How to apply for a scholarship?

The application should include: Letter of Motivation (1 page), abstract (1 page, template see below), registration form (template see below). The topic of the abstract must be on the field of catalysis and related to SDG.
