  1. enantioselective biocatalysis using hydroxynitrile lyases, transaminases, esterases, lipases, BVMOs, decarboxylases and alcohol dehydrogenases
  2. biocatalytic cascade reactions with contrary reaction specifications
  3. integrated reaction concepts including separation techniques
  4. (selective) crystallization of enantiomers
